Sodalite is the stone of pacification, of moderating logic. It's effects are close to those of lapis lazuli, less intense, but with greater serenity.

It reassures us of our own abilities, thus moderating boastfulness, exaggeration and mythomania, and encourages modesty. It is particularly recommended for those who are overly sensitive.

The darker zones of the stone are said to be connected with protection, while the lighter ones are said to be connected to inner light. This mala is rather on the darker color, while remaining balanced between the two.
